There have been some excellent fund raising efforts in support of the Save the Millers Campaign but today there's news of one that will take some beating.

That's because Lionel and Kevin will be cycling all the way from Millmoor to Barcelona to raise as much money as possible.

Kevin explained: "We have done something like this before when we raised £20,000 by cycling to Vienna and coming from Rotherham I heard about the plight and thought I would like to help."

Said Lionel: "Hopefully we will end the journey at Barcelona's football ground after it will have taken us eight days to reach there."

Added Kevin: "Our route is well planned in England and France but we are still working on the Spanish section as we aren't allowed to cycle on the motorways.

"It's a hell of a journey and at the end of it we will be pretty tired but we hope to raise as much money as possible."

They will start from Millmoor around 2.15pm on the day of the Millers last game of the season on Saturday 6th May so please be there to give them a great send off in their magnificent objectives.
