Rotherham United will host Accrington Stanley this weekend in a league fixture for the first time since 1951.

The Millers will be glad to see the back of the month of February after recording just one win and one draw out of the six matches they played in during the month. Despite the mid week defeat to Bradford City the game saw strikers Ryan Taylor and Chris O'Grady back on goal scoring form. Taylor has now scored five goals, all in the league, and his strike on Tuesday night was his first goal since he netted a late consolation in the away defeat to Peterborough in late January. O'Grady's last goal goes back to the away win over Chester, also at the back of January, and it is his 10th goal in all competitions this season.

Accrington Stanley arrive at Millmoor on a poor run of form which has seen them register just two wins in their last 11 league games. However, they ended a run of three defeats on the spin when they beat Brentford 1-0 in mid week. Stanley have picked up the majority of their points on their travels this season but they have just one away victory in their last five away trips. Overall their away form is the 14th best in League Two so far this season. The Millers defence will have to be wary of Accrington striker Paul Mullin, he has registered 12 goals in all competitions this season and he is Accrington's top goal scorer.

The last time Stanley visited Millmoor was for a Football League Trophy match in 2005. In an entertaining game the Millers edged the tie by winning 3-2 on penalties after the match had finished 3-3. Rotherham were leading 2-1 in normal time thanks to goals from Martin Butler and Will Hoskins but Stanley equalised with 15 minutes left to take the match into extra time. Stanley then took the lead through David Brown but the Millers equalised in the last minute of extra time through Marc Newsham, and then squeezed through in the shootout.

The last time Accrington won at Millmoor was in January 1935 when Stanley won 3-2 with both sides playing in the Old Division Three North. Overall the teams have met 43 times in league football, with the Millers winning 22, Stanley winning 14 and seven games finished in a draw.
